Cancer Writing

I write about cancer because I am a patient experiencing his second relapse. As a medical school professor, I explain the science of cancer in layman’s terms to help other patients and families get the best care. And I write essays about my journey toward the end of life. In these essays, I write as a husband, father, and Christian seeking a path for living and dying with freedom and dignity.
